A look at women who are powerful and unashamed in their beauty and position as leaders, they are surrounded by animals flowers and decretive filigree.

These images are a collaboration of pyrography (wood burning) and painting to showcase a unique style of art

Bio

I’m a Self-taught artist with a career spanning 20 yrs and in that time I have sculpted using limestone, bronze and ceramics but my passion is painting.

In Bendigo Victoria I studied for my Diploma of visual arts majoring in painting and minoring in sculpture and photography I graduate painting with merit.

While living in QLD I was a partner in the Blackbutt gallery “butt-art” where I sold both paintings and sculptures and became known in the area. As a partner in the gallery I was responsible for artistic choices in the displays as well as selling my work and that of the other partners.

I was a regular exhibitor at the renowned Melany art awards and exhibition in Queensland, I have had numerous solo and group exhibitions with both my sculptures and paintings. some of my successful exhibitions included Cityscapes, what cats get up to, and my limestone sculptures of sea life. I have also donated my time and artworks for charity auctions.

I’m now living in the port Adelaide area where I have exhibited locally in several galleries and was part of the port Adelaide festival as well as selling my art online.
